No one wanted to buy Michael Jordan's Chicago mansion
Michael Jordan's Chicagoland mansion is incredibly amazing (check out this video tour if you haven't seen it), but the Bulls great is having a bit of trouble unloading it.
The mansion received zero bids when it went up for auction on Monday. It was originally listed in 2012 at an asking price of $29 million.
Jordan spokeswoman Estee Portnoy says nobody offered the reserve price of $13 million for the seven-acre estate in Highland Park, north of Chicago. Portnoy says Concierge Auctions publicized Monday’s auction well, but that market conditions aren’t ideal. She says options for the property will be evaluated next year.
The 56,000 square foot mansion includes a gate with the number 23 on it, a regulation size indoor basketball court and 15 full bathrooms.
Maybe he should ask Alex Rodriguez for advice?
